He has played music for as long as he can remember. He started playing keyboards, bass, and saxophone in bands when he was a teenager. After finishing an engineering degree, he returned to college to get a music degree in woodwind performance, specializing in modern oboe and bassoon as well as historic woodwind instruments. His passion for the historic instruments naturally led him to the folk instruments from cultures around the world. Today, while still performing music in the classical genre on historic instruments, Cornell extensively performs his own style of music using the woodwind instruments from around the world. See more
