This is by far my favorite journal and I’ve tried quite a few. The introductory/background section is actually helpful instead of just filler. And each journal page is on par for getting in the right mindset in the morning and reflecting at night, all the while with the larger habit forming plans in the background that you set for yourself earlier. Quality binding, pages, print. One thing to note is that the journal has pages for only 13 weeks of daily and weekly reflection. I wish there was a way to order additional pages without having to get a whole new journal each time. Maybe something for the author to consider - selling additional pages, even softbound. I would buy it repeatedly!I like the idea. However, you must read over 100 pages just to get started. Almost half of the journal is reading material. The pages consist of knowledge and instructions about habit building. Which, at first, I thought would be good to read. However the text you must read before getting started is incredibly boring. It is a chore to read it. Also, it is so long I don’t have time to read that much. I bought this journal and have never used it because I don’t have time to read the boring and long introduction.Not to mention all of the reading material consist of the same info that I’ve studied on google about habits and routines. So I’ve heard it all before, and it seems very basic.I like the journal concept, I just don’t like the reading material that is required to use it.This system will guide you on tbe path to achieving daily success and rid you of "squirrel mind", which results from a planner full of stuff that never gets done. With tbe Reboot Journal, at the end of the day you will feel satisfied that you lived a good day. It will stop your search for endless "planners" as the answer.I have tested out more journals than I can count. This is definitely at the top of the grading scale. It focuses more on habits than goals, so it's a process of creating those instead of doing different things to reach a goal. And it covers all aspects of life--health, sleep, fun, relationships, etc. which means fewer journals all over my shelves!I’ve been using the Reboot Journal for about a week and I'm very happy with it. It is quite different from other journals I've tried, but I find it covers a lot of the areas I’m looking to improve, so it's actually very useful for me. The introduction section is quite detailed and has a lot of good tips and strategies that I hadn't heard before. I really like the fact that it’s practical and that it goes into the science of how habits form and stick and also that it gives a lot of information on each of the ‘Reboot’ habits that are recommended for the different areas of life. I find that using it daily gives me a structure to follow to make sure I tick all the important boxes and maintain balance in my life - something which I struggle with. There is a bit of work to do in the beginning learning about the 15 Reboot habits and filling out the habit templates etc, but I really learned a lot from those parts. I do feel that I've already improved and made progress, especially in terms of my mindset. So far I'm really happy with the journal and feel confident it can help me build positive habits for life.Bought this Journal for myself and for a friend as a gift. I’m really happy with it, and so far its my favourite habit journal that I’ve tried.The first part is text, so there’s a bit of reading - but it’s like a crash course in the science of habits and helpful strategies to build them in different areas of your life. I like daily pages, it’s a system that works for me. I also like the fact there are weekly planning and review pages to track your progress and plan the coming week. Highly recommended!The Reboot Journal was more than I ever hoped it would be. This thing packs a punch. It is not one of those flimsy journals; it is sturdy and has a hidden pocket in the back. The journal starts off with what I would call a “tutorial” of how to use it. There are some serious topics for self-reflection here and the book guides you through it. After you fill out the identity templates, you’ll start getting the hang of things. This journal really helps me to take each day one step at a time, with a real evaluation of how I’ve spent my time and met my goals. I can already see how my habits could change as a result of this journey. If you’ve ever struggled with journaling in general or just need a breath of fresh air, give the Reboot Journal a chance to work it’s magic.I can’t recommend this journal enough! I love it! Quite a bit of reading in the beginning, but it is so beneficial in how the human mind works and how you can improve your habits. I’m still in the beginning of the book but I’m just so excited about it. Worth the money. Will update as I read on.
