I am somewhat of a music enthusiast (I play five instruments and lead worship at my church) so when I listen to music I am constantly ripping it apart in my brain to digest how the artist came up with their sound. Luminate has been to me a breath of fresh air. Christian music has gotten painfully stale in the last decade. You can pretty much take every popular song and compare it to songs popular ten or even twenty years ago in some cases.Luminate has managed to find a new kind of sound, yet stay faithful to truth from God's word. The title track is definitely my favorite. One line in that song has spoken to me every time I hear it, urging the believer to remember the blood of Jesus and how His blood covers your sin! This is what Christian music should be, refreshing and engaging sound with powerful and truth centered lyrics. I can't wait to hear more from this artist.
