Richy Pitch is a British producer fortunate enough to have this EP furnished and released by 7 Heads Records along with its stable of talent. All emcees, from El da Sensei to Asheru reps nicely on his or her respective track(s). Pitch somehow manages to incorporate disparate sounds and instruments, like typewriter strokes with flutes and phone beeps accompanied by acoustic guitar strums. Two out of the three instrumentals are headnod worthy, but this album is way too short and only serves to whet one's appetite for more, especially from a nice producer like pitch. I wish this album were a companion to an LP as part of a two disc set. Here's to a Richy Pitch LP 7 Heads!!
