I think my new kittens love the tail more than the bed, but they do play in the bed too. Sturdy and soft. We haven't had to wash it, so not sure about that.Tony previously had two beds on which he alternated. Now he sleeps exclusivelyon the new bedMy Yorkie loves this bed. It still doesn’t win out over the big dog’s bed lol But when I remove her from his bed she will stay in hers. Super soft!My cat loves it on and off haha but its very cute looks just like the pic, thick and very full of fluff!Haven't had long ,so not sure about cleaning. However I can sum things up in one line. It's the first cat bed my cats (5 of them ) have EVER used ! I'm a long long time cat owner. For what you get for what you pay, very happy.It took about a week for my cat to get in it. Was getting ready to return when I saw her curled up in it! She now loves it and uses every day.
